Each day of camp, participants will explore a Catholic faith theme that is woven through the activities and experiences within the assembly. Through music, drama, media, art and small and large group exercises, each theme is intended to help campers connect faith with the issues of everyday life.

Community-Building Activities

Camp includes a variety of activities to bring participants closer together including camp fire, games, sing-a-longs and a closing night affirmation ceremony. All of these encourage the building of lasting friendships.

Prayer, Liturgy and Sacramental Experiences

Camp includes contemporary prayer and worship experiences that resonate with young people. Each camp will have an experienced musician who will lead song. Prayer that fosters a stronger relationship with God and sacramental experiences such as the Eucharistic liturgy and penance and reconciliation will also be part of the each camp. Participants will have the opportunity to assist in the prayer life of the community by helping to prepare and lead these experiences.

Social Activities

Swimming, sports and opportunities to explore nature are a part of camp life. In addition, there are  special social events that add to the fun of each camp.

Specific topics such as social justice, morality, prayer and call to ministry will be addressed in workshops that are developmentally-appropriate for each age group.

The Diocese of Santa Rosa works to provide a safe, engaging and fun environment for camp participants to learn and grow in their Catholic Faith and establish a sense of Christian community with their peers and others.
