Adult Training in Youth Ministry Series

The final sessions for this year’s Adult Training in Youth Ministry Series will take place on:

Sunday, April 29 at Christ the King Parish Hall, 1951 McKinleyveille Avenue in McKinleyville from 1:30-5:30 p.m. following the Summer Camp Information Session

Saturday, May 5 at the Diocese of Santa Rosa Chancery, 985 Airway Court in Santa Rosa from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This session will focus on a pastoral ministry response to youth as well as a theological topic drawn from the USCCB’s Adaptation of Doctrinal Elements of a Curriculum Framework for Catechesis with  Young People. It is open to College-Age Young Adults and Adults working with young people in grades 6-12.“Overview of Youth Ministry” will help youth ministry leaders explore ways to increase their knowledge and skill of implementing a comprehensive ministry among young people in a parish setting. In addition, “Life in Jesus Christ” is the sixth theological topic of the Doctrinal Elements of a Curriculum Framework. Participants will explore the Church’s teaching on Morality and Holiness.
